The cluster and its companies are playing an active role in pre-competitive and competitive Basque, Spanish and European projects. It regularly works with the Technology Centres in the Basque Network and with others in Spain and other European countries. In addition to the R&D centres of the most important companies, we also have two prominent Technology Centres: Hometec for domestic appliances and the Stirling Centre for the Components Sector and to develop their applications.
In 2009, the cluster took on the challenge of developing a Living Lab Home which will come into operation in 2010 and which will have installations of its own in 2011, in order to promote and facilitate a strategic approach to the new concept of the home.
